1-day Kagawa itinerary

9AM: Commence your day with a visiting Takaya Shrine atop Mt Inazumi, situated at an elevation of 404 meters. Revel in a panoramic vista that unfolds, showcasing the picturesque Kanonji City and the stunning Seto Inland Sea. 

On days with clear weather, you can even see Mt Ishizuchi in neighbouring Ehime Prefecture.

12PM: Indulge in a Kagawa essential – the renowned Sanuki udon. This distinctive local delight is crafted from Kagawa's high-quality flour and features a delicious broth. Featuring a large variety on their menu and nearby factories and self-service, you are ensured to have a unique and delicious udon experience you won't want to miss.Kagawa

Make sure to visit and get in early and have your udon fix as many shops will close for the day after selling out of their product!

2PM: Continue your journey with a visit to Kotohiki Park. Famous for its stunning views, if you look down from the summit observation deck you have a clear view of a monumental sand picture bearing the inscription 'Kan’ei Tsuho'—a currency from the Edo period.

It is said that if you see the picture, you will have no financial problems and live a long an healthy life.
5PM: Conclude your Kagawa adventure with a visit to Mt. Shiude. Stroll along the mountaintop path leading to the observation deck, where you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the island-dotted Seto Inland Sea, with the distant outline of mainland Japan in sight. This scenic locale is especially enchanting in spring, adorned with the beauty of cherry blossoms.
