Bluey’s World - an immersive experience inspired by the global children's television phenomenon, Bluey - will open in Brisbane in August 2024. The event is expected to bring Bluey fans from all over the world, giving visitors the opportunity to journey through a recreation of Bluey's home and iconic backyard and of course the chance to explore Bluey's hometown for real life.
The number one children's brand in Australia, now broadcasting and streaming in more than 60 countries, Bluey has brought many of Brisbane's iconic city and suburban landscapes to millions of viewers around the world.
TEQ, Brisbane Economic Development Agency and BBC Studios will be harnessing the combined power of their brands to inspire people to come to Brisbane – and more broadly Queensland – to experience Bluey’s World, while also taking the chance to explore Bluey’s home state too – from Southbank and Brisbane city to Noosa's Big Pelican and everything else in Brisbane and beyond! This is a huge opportunity for our tourism industry to collectively shine and show the world in person the lifestyle that Bluey lives in the show.
TEQ predicts the world-first and world-exclusive event will bring more than $18 million in spending into our visitor economy.
Wackadoo!
