The Polish Riviera

Gdańsk

Gdańsk

Gdańsk is an historic port city on the Baltic coast of Poland. I

ts Main Town, reconstructed after WWII, has the colorful facades of Long Market, now home to shops and restaurants.

The Neptune Fountain is a 17th-century symbol of the city topped by a bronze statue of the sea god.

It is a vibrant city with fine food, pubs and bars along with of museums and galleries.

From the top of the Old Gothic Tower, one can view the Dlugi Targ, the Motlawa River and the Baltic Sea. Gdańsk is well placed to explore the white sands of the Baltic coast and the nearby seaside spots of Sopot and Gdynia.

There are white sandy beaches without the usual crowds of summer offer the refreshing Baltic sea air along with a wooden pier that's the longest in Europe. www.visitgdansk.com/en/

Świnoujście

From here one vpcan take a cruise ship tour to Świnoujście’s Queen of Light, the tallest lighthouse in Poland.

The lighthouse can also be reached on foot or by the local bus which departs from Warszów quay. www.visit.swinoujscie.pl/en
