Nights of Lights
Nov 26-Dec 17; 6-8pm
The 22nd Annual Nights of Lights is a month-long celebration featuring beautiful holiday lights, artisan shopping, and weekly festivities on Friday nights along Main Street in downtown Half Moon Bay.
Friday, November 26: Kick off the holiday season at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. Kids will be invited to make ornaments and decorate the tree. Mac Dutra Park, 504 Main Street.
Friday, December 3: Enjoy a lighted parade down Main Street followed by a visit from Santa himself!
Friday, December 10: Find the perfect gift at this local holiday market along Main Street.
Friday, December 17: Get into the spirit with holiday caroling and live music.

Coastside Holiday Festival
December 3, 3-9pm
Shop from 20 local artisans and enjoy kids face painting/activities, holiday libations, food trucks and more! IDES Hall, 735 Main Street.

Holiday Boutique at La Piazza
December 18-19, 10 am-5pm
This two-day event features local artisans and lots of holiday shopping. 604 Main Street.

- ART & PERFORMANCE –
Holiday Ornament Hand-Blown Art
Offered through Jan 18
Make a special glass ornament that will be the perfect gift or an addition to a Christmas tree. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Cost of the class is $45 ($40 for kids 12 and under). Located at La Nebbia Winery, 12341 San Mateo Road on Hwy. 92, (650) 283-5626, www.hmbartglass.com.

Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society
Sundays: doors open at 3 p.m.; performances from 4:30 – 7 p.m.
Get into the holiday spirit with live music! Head to the Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society for their acclaimed Sunday afternoon performances celebrating jazz and classical music. Founded by Pete Douglas in 1964, this legendary yet low-key venue has hosted the likes of jazz greats such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and Dizzy Gillespie. Coastal Repertory Theatre
Weekends from Dec. 3 -19, the Coastal Repertory Theatre is offering The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris, adapted by Joe Mantello. In this bittersweet one-man show, a struggling actor strapped for cash takes a job as an Elf at Macy’s Santaland, and his hilarious observations are more naughty than nice!
