Yosuke Oishi - Leather craftsman
After graduating from high school in his native Hokkaido, Yosuke Oishi came to Tokyo to study clothing and textiles. Working with classic leather designs, he set up shop in Asakusabashi where he deals in finely crafted leather goods and also imparts his skills to others at workshops.

The large number of shops specializing in bags and beadwork reflects Asakusabashi's history as Tokyo's leather goods district. It's great to see the area's many shops alive with shoppers in search of supplies and handicrafts.
