Prepare yourself….We’re announcing a Spring 2021 IN PERSON Educational!!!

Finally, this most memorable year, for all the wrong reasons, is really and truly over. Let’s all raise a glass of our favorite beverage as we toast the end of 2020 and take a well-deserved drink of whatever makes us happiest to ring in 2021 which is sure to be the first of the 20xx series that we will WANT to remember!

I believe that my late December birthdate accords me the special privilege of declaring 2020 null and void and so I suggest that we all have the legal right to skip a year when calculating our ages.

With that said I must also say that I am so very happy to be working on another educational trip to Sicily this spring. This is a region I love, my region of residence, and not of birth but this is where my soul is currently feeling at home. I love this island and I love the people even with their quirkiness because they are authentic, organic, local, and real. The people are as interesting as the architecture found in every corner of Sicily. The guides we have on this island are special because some have chosen to stay local so they can share their love for this place with our travelers whose curiosity goes beyond monuments and art, food, and religion. Our guides LOVE the fact that our clients are interested in traditions, customs, and local interactions.

Sicily is one REAL region and area of Italy, but some Italians don’t consider it a part of Italy at all. They consider it as being separate from Italy and a place on its own. There are so many hidden corners here and so many times and events throughout the year that the people and traditions become the highlights here. These combinations make the island even more interesting, as it becomes a melting pot of Italian and Arabic cultures.
