Airlie Beach Triathlon & Ocean Swim

This year is the 20th anniversary of the Airlie Beach Triathlon, with Colorbond as the major sponsor for the third year in a row and a goal to make the event bigger and better than ever.

Colorbond is committed to ensuring it’s a community based event and on a Friday night there will be a fireworks display and a carnival feel in the carpark next to the lagoon. 

Organisers are also committed to getting more kids involved and are also considering running an Olympic Distance this year, which they hope will appeal to interstate runners, who generally will travel to compete for such a distance.
