At 850 meters above sea level, the Rokkosan Country House park is holding its "Mid-Summer Snow Festival" from 13 July. Visitors can try some snowman/snowball-making during summer months, not to mention typical Japanese summertime activities such as treasure hunts, "nagashi somen" (flowing noodles) and barbecues.
A "Snow Festival Route Bus" will be operating from downtown Kobe to Rokkosan Country House. Let's enjoy a cool summer in the mountains!
