The 210 guests partied the night away on a stylised black and white dancefloor under a 1.5m wide mirror ball, surrounded by multi-coloured illuminated set pieces featuring silhouettes of disco dancers. Vertical light towers positioned between the set pieces rose to 4m in height, creating a large illuminated set as the focal point.
Jamie De Re, Venue Sales Executive - Four Points by Sheraton at Staging Connections highlighted the world-class technology and creativity that enabled his team to pull off the event.
“The colourful styling and lighting created a vibrant atmosphere perfect for the lively celebration. To bring the vision for the event to life, we used the installed projection system consisting of 16,000 lumen Panasonic projectors with motorised screens framing the stage set.
“80 installed Martin Rush MH5 moving profiles were used to pin spot tables and breakup gobo’s within the fixtures used to cast shapes of light throughout the Grand Ballroom. Bright colours from the LED ceiling panels coupled with sleek black tablecloths, illuminated martini glass centrepieces and shimmering 1.5m mirror ball all came together to create an upbeat Studio 54 theme” said Mr De Re.
Disco music set the mood in the pre-function space before guests proceeded down a red carpet to the Grand Ballroom, where the theme of Studio 54 was revealed.
