Save the Date for: The Orchestra for the Earth Conference, May 18 & 19 2016

Join us for an inspirational Conference bringing together an Orchestra of great spiritual minds and passionate people to explore and create solutions to save the Earth, its splendour and Indigenous traditions.

  • 9.30am Why are we here? Each guest speaker will present on how they see the challenge for people of different faiths in supporting a more environmentally sustainable World
  • 10.00am How to choose and respond in your own life, Fr. Frank Brennan
  • 10:30am Morning Tea
  • 11.00am Personal and community group responses from different traditions andperspectives (Christian, Indigenous, Buddhist, Humanist)
  • 1:00pm Lunch
  • 2.00pm Exercises and strategies for more environment sustainable living
  • 3.00pm Building a coalition among people of different beleifs which values and helps sustain our world.
  • 4.00pm Afternoon Tea and shared plans
  • 4.30pm Closing plenary - Fr Frank Brennan and guests
  • 6.30pm A PUBLIC FORUM on Environmental Sustainability and Pope Francis' Laudato Si 'On Care for Common Ground at MacKillop College Hall, Ocean Drive, PORT MACQUARIE

  • 7:00am Yoga and Meditation
  • Option One: Stay at The Francis Retreat to continue reflection and conversation OR
  • Option 2: A Sustainable Activity Tour to a farm and a sustainable home in nearby Wauchope
