Five Lands Walk to be held again at Macmasters Beach

The Five Lands Walk is a popular event held each year in June. This is suitable for all members of the family, as it is a moderately easy walk.

The walk follows the spectacular Central Coast coastline for nine kilometres. It starts at MacMasters Beach and proceeds along to Terrigal.

Along the way there are free cultural and fun events which are held near the Surf Clubs at each of the beaches. these include Copacabana, Avoca and North Avoca beaches.

The Walk is timed to occur shortly after the winter solstice, to celebrate the coming of the warmer season and longer days. This is also the time of year when the humpback whales northern migration is well underway and may be seen from the shore line.
