A Perfect Day in Paradise!

This 5 hour tour brings together the geography, history, nature and some fine indulgences in Tasmania. On a flight to the historic property of Bangor you will see the stunning coastline of the Tasman and Forrestier Pemninsulas, taking in Tasman Island and the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere before landing beside Lagoon Bay.

Bangor is a 6200 hectare property on the Forestier Peninsula with 5100 hectares of native forests, grasslands and wetlands, and 35 kilometres of coastline. On the drive through Bangore you have a chance to see native animals such as wombats, wallabies and native birdlife. Enjoy a short walk to the Tasman Monument where you will enjoy morning tea. This historic site marks the place where Dutch explorer Abel Tasman planted his country's flag on Decmebr 3, 1642.

Your journey continues across the property to the vineyarf and the Bangor Wine and Oyster Shed. Here a gourmet seafood lunch including fresh oysters, abolone, mussells, cheese platters and a wine tasting awaits. Relax by the fire or on the deck taking in the views or rows of grapes, the vast waterways and the local village of Dunalley.
