Author EL James outed herself as a lover of boring old grey with the 50 Shades trilogy (after all she is English and is likely accustomed to being surrounded by grey if you know what we mean!) but immersed in colours of the Wet Tropics in Tropical North Queensland, our preferred colour is green. As in every hue of rainforest green. From delicate ferns sprouting from the forest floor to eucalypt branches reaching high up in the canopy, we've got so many shades of green that you've probably never seen.

Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) Chief Executive Officer Alex de Waal said the blogs were an important component of TTNQ's advocacy strategy with local and visiting bloggers plus content creators sharing their favourite experiences in the region.
“The website highlights interesting locals who embrace our tropical lifestyle, experiences from throughout the Tropical North Queensland region and upcoming events to give visitors engaging destination information,” he said.
“Designed to be visually rich with full screen-width imagery and large embedded videos, the site is integrated with Tropical North Queensland's social media channels.
“It also makes the most of the content we are generating by having content influencers visit the region such as the recent contestants in the Paradise Through Your Lens campaign.
“Local travel writer Fiona Harper has been appointed as our blog editor and welcomes local contributors and story ideas which can be sent to blogeditor@ttnq.org.au.”
