Exhibition highlights Ha Noi’s national relics

Nearly 100 photos and maps depicting nine special national relics in Ha Noi are being displayed at an exhibition at the Temple of Literature from September 24 to October 24 to mark the 60th anniversary of the capital’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – 2014).

The relics are the memorial site to President Ho Chi Minh in the Presidential Palace, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Co Loa Citadel, the Temple of Literature, Hat Mon, Hai Ba Trung, Hoan Kiem Lake – Ngoc Son, Tay Dang and Phu Dong temples, which are famous tourism and cultural destinations of Hanoi, witnessing numerous historical events, reflecting cultural beauty, and attaching to heroic, wise and unyielding nationals.

Photos depicting President Ho Chi Minh tell visitors about the leader’s life and work, while those of facilities in the Literature Temple and activities held at the site help visitors understand the history of the major educational centre in the past.

According to Nguyen Huy Bai, Head of the Management Board of the Hai Ba Trung Temple, the exhibition is a significant activity to introduce and promote the relics to domestic and international visitors and contribute to the protection of the country's heritage.
