Kangaroo Island's acclaimed Southern Ocean Lodge has been ranked in first position with a score of 97.35 from a possible 100, making it the number one hotel in the region.
Nine-suite Capella Lodge on World Heritage-listed Lord Howe Island was awarded seventh place in the list with a score of 90.77, while the newly refurbished Baillie Lodges property Longitude 131° at Uluru-Kata Tjuta came in at ninth place with a score of 86.81.
The annual Readers Choice Awards were determined from nearly 77,000 Condé Nast magazine readers around the world who this year submitted more than a million votes for their favourite travel experiences.
Baillie Lodges Managing Director James Baillie said the trio of Readers Choice awards was a first for the Baillie Lodges collection following the addition of the iconic outback 'camp' Longitude 131° in November 2013.
