Tigerair Australia's Commercial Director Adam Rowe says that the regularly updated Tiger Bites menu continues to be a popular addition since it was launched in September last year.
“Our goal is to make Tigerair Australia's number one airline of choice for budget travel; providing Australians with great value fares and friendly service while helping keep the domestic travel market competitive.
“We continue to focus on taking the hassle out of flying and aim to provide greater choice through our exciting in-flight menu which is designed to cater for all tastes and budgets.”
The new menu caters for a range of dietary requirements and includes a number of new hot and cold menu items including a triple beef platter for meat lovers and a Snowy cheese snacking platter and wine deal for a special end of day treat.
The popular savoury Vili's meat pie and sausage roll combo pack is still on offer and there are also a number of special dietary options including a gluten free Rowie's cheese or vegan toastie as well as delicious Rowie's rocky road and Anzac biscuits that are both nut, wheat and gluten free.
Tigerair continues to provide an extensive choice of beverages including hot and cold soft drinks as well as a range of wine, beer, cider and pre-mixed drinks. We have also introduced Barista's iced coffee to the drinks line-up for the first time to help keep coffee lovers cool this summer.
Chocolate lovers may well be tempted by the new Tim Tam Chocolicious Bites, but for passengers looking for lighter options there is still Cobs popcorn available and the addition of the low carb, high protein and high fibre Slim Secrets' Minitabolism Boost bar. Strawberry 'Pockys' (thin yoghurt coated bread sticks) are becoming an increasingly popular sweet treat and are also now available for our passengers.
There also continues to be plenty on offer for the kids including the addition of Mr. Munchies cookies, and the kid's snack pack is available for just $4 when purchased with a new Toby Activity Case. This includes a games map, trivia cards, pencils, temporary tattoo and a maze game to keep children over the age of three entertained.
Also included in the activity case is a Tigerair Junior Captain's Flyer Club log-book for younger passengers who can't wait to get their wings. Each time the club member travels with Tigerair they can ask a member of crew to get the captain on duty to verify that flight log-book entry. After five flights the member then qualifies for a prized Tigerair Wings club badge to impress their friends (see attached).
Summer travel also means family travel and to help keep kids of all ages entertained, or even for last minute gift ideas, Tigerair is offering a number of fun new items as part of its Tiger Bites summer revamp. These include a Darth Vader LED key ring, a $100 eco-friendly neoprene travel wallet, a USB rechargeable mini retro speaker, a portable phone charger and distinctive triple pack Lego luggage tags for when you want your bags to stand-out on arrival. There is also a unique Tigerair stubby holder which is just $5 with any other purchase.
Customers who plan ahead can continue to book their Tiger Bites combo meal choice in advance at the same time that they book their ticket, saving time, money and the hassle of ordering when on board.
Tiger Bites items are available from $4. The menu will be updated again in six months in time for when the cooler months return and as always, the product will continue to evolve based on consumer demand.
