Learn About the Future of Luxury Travel from the Industry's Experts at the 2014 Luxperience Thought Leaders Forum

The future of luxury travel is revealed as the Tourism Industry's thought leaders share their knowledge with delegates at Luxperience this year.

Luxury travel is no longer (just) about being pampered at 5-star luxury hotels. Today's high-end travellers want more from their holiday experience.

They want to be the first to explore unknown territory, sample the world's finest cuisine, de-stress and kick-start a healthier lifestyle, immerse themselves in the local culture, give back to the community or stay at the same exclusive resort the celebrities are staying at this year.

The Luxperience Thought Leaders' Forum brings together some of the tourism industry's experts on luxury and experiential travel to share their knowledge with exhibitors and delegates.

Among the presenters at the Forum, Anne Biging, managing director of Healing Hotels of the World, a globally recognized expert in the field of wellness travel, who will talk about how to provide opportunities for guests seeking self-enhancement and improved health and wellbeing, beyond spa treatments and fitness centres.

Chris Chesak, Executive Director of the Adventure Travel Trade Association and passionate wilderness explorer will talk about the impact of adventure travel in the new luxury travel sphere, and Francesco Galli Zugaro, CEO of Aqua Expeditions, will speak about creating unique experiences to uncharted destinations.

The findings of tourism research projects, commissioned by Luxperience, which look into the evolving luxury travel market, will also be presented at the Forum.

Chris Farquhar, managing director at Cimigo Research will present findings on their extensive research into the travel preferences of the Chinese high-end traveller, while Dr Eduardo De La Fuente will present his insights into trends in hotel design, away from traditional luxury.

“This is a great opportunity for travel agents and tourism operators to broaden their knowledge and find new solutions to cater for the fast-evolving luxury travel market,” said Luxperience CEO Lindy Andrews.
