Laketown - Cruise Tekapo

Lake Tekapo is a pure delight for all who view its waters. Its stunning turquoise colour is derived from pulverized rock ground by the glaciers into a fine ‘rock flour’ which is held in suspension in the waters of the lake and the ice age glacial waters that have fed the lake for 20,000 years.

One of the best ways to indulge in the beauty of the lake with Cruise Tekapo. Guests are delighted with a two hour tour of the lakes including the hydro intake, the piers of the early bridge, The Church of the Good Shepherd, glacial rock formations, Mt John and the snow-capped Southern Alps.
