The world travel industry is witnessing the biggest human migration of the year for the Chinese New Year ceremonies. Almost 3.62 billion people are expected to visit China during the eventful 15 days of the Lunar New Year also known as the spring festival in China. This year the celebrations will commence from January 31.
The travel industry in China along with the local industries has started their preparations for the Chinese New Year, predicting a busy and purposeful span to enhance their business.
The Chinese New Year marks the beginning of the lunar calendar and it generally falls in January or February of the international calendar.
The Chinese New Year is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. Red, the colour of strength and agility for the Chinese people can be seen in every decoration around the cities. Food is considered to be a huge crowd puller during these 15 days. The Lion and dragon dance is another attraction for local and international travelers in China during this festive season.
