The world’s largest travel site, TripAdvisor has announced the winners of its 2014 Travellers’ Choice awards for hotels, including Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa in the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area of NSW, which has been named the Top Hotel in Australia.
In the 12th year of the awards, the world’s most outstanding properties were identified in the categories of Top Hotels, Bargain, B&Bs and Inns, Family, Luxury, Romance, and Small Hotels.

Travellers’ Choice award winners were determined based on the reviews and opinions of millions of TripAdvisor travellers around the globe. In total, 7,123 unique properties worldwide won awards in 2014.
Australia featured 118 award winners. NSW properties that topped the categories included Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort, Blue Mountains; Park Hyatt, Sydney; Spicers Vineyards Estate, Pokolbin; Splinters Guest House, Pokolbin; and Capella Lodge, Lord Howe Island.
