The world’s leading travel trade fair, ITB Berlin, this year plans to
gather personnel managers from the hotel trade, catering and tourism
industry. The convention promises information and targeted events for
students, trainees and professionals. There will be productive job
offers from the MeerArbeit project on the MS Sanssouci.
The ITB Berlin CareerCenter is the ideal springboard for career
starters and experienced professionals to find the new job of their
dreams in the tourism industry. From 6 to 10 March 2013 the Berlin
Exhibition Grounds will once again be the meeting place of the
international travel industry. Anyone interested in a tourism industry
career can find out about the latest job vacancies and meet
representatives of leading hotel chains, cruise companies and tour
operators in Hall 5.1. At the ITB Job Exchange visitors can meet with
personnel managers and apply for the job of their dreams on the spot.
The ITB Young Professional Day offers newcomers to the job market and
academically qualified young employees in the travel industry ideas and
information for shaping their future.
David Ruetz, Head of ITB Berlin: “Due to its global dimension the
travel industry is a popular choice for a career. In Germany this sector
is a mainstay of the economy and one of the country’s biggest
employers. With Germany now attracting more and more domestic and
foreign travelers the travel industry offers a wide range of career
opportunities for newcomers and experienced employees alike.“
ITB Berlin 2013 will be taking place from Wednesday, 6 to Sunday, 10
March, and from Wednesday to Friday will be open to trade visitors only.
Parallel with the trade show, the ITB Berlin Convention, the largest
travel industry event of its kind in the world, will be held from
Wednesday, 6 to Friday, 8 March 2013.
