The PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney Hotel has announced that it is embarking on a multi-million dollar refurbishment to capture the spirit of Sydney. The refurbishment commenced on 28th May 2012 and will be completed in ate September 2012, and will include the hotel's guest rooms as well as the club lounge and lobby.

The refurbishment is inspired by today's travellers, their needs and expectations. Collaborating with acclaimed design company, HASSELL, PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney will feature enhancements that complement the PARKROYAL brand while providing a unique character that is in harmony with its iconic Australian location.  HASSELL is a multi-award winning company, with more than 650 design awards and  was recently ranked Australasia's number one architectural design practice in the 2012 BD World Architecture Top 100.

The overall design concept introduces a vibrant and fresh new colour palette that represents the natural Sydney surrounds - from beach to bush landscape. Neutral greys are highlighted against fresh blues and greens to create a sanctuary within the urban context. Located on the city-side of Darling Harbour and only minutes away from the Sydney Convention and Entertainment Centre, George Street, Chinatown and the Queen Victoria Building, the revitalised PARKROYAL Darling Harbour, Sydney will reflect the individuality of its location and provide a modern, comfortable and supportive guest environment in line with the PARKROYAL brand.

The refurbishment will also incorporate the latest technology and innovation to deliver an enriched level of comfort and convenience.
