Wet weather fun at the Show Royal Easter Show

There’s a forecast for fun at the Sydney Royal Easter Show! With more than 80% of the attractions at the Show undercover, there is still plenty to see and do! A little rain can help wash away the work & school blues so you’ll find your happy place as soon as you come through the entry gates!

Look up the weather forecast before you leave home and pack a brolly if you need to. But don’t worry if showers hit out of the blue – rain ponchos and umbrellas are for sale throughout the Showground.

Top 10 picks if you don’t want to get wet

#1 Pavilions are guaranteed to keep you dry. And we’ve got more than 25 for you to visit.

#2 The Woolworths Fresh Food Dome is home of the District Exhibits and where you’ll find our finest, freshest freshest regional produce.

#3 Stay indoors and head into the Home & Lifestyle Pavilion for clever solutions to transform your home and life. And don’t forget to stop for a cuppa and scones with jam and cream at the CWA Tea Rooms.

#4 If you’ve just made your way straight into the Pet Pavilion, for all creatures fluffy, hairy, feathered and scaled, then you're in for a treat! The 10 animal pavilions are a great way to get up-close-and-personal with your favourite animals.

#5 There's no need to get wet. Take a few steps back to the Fashion & Style Pavilion, the place to go to spoil yourself. Next, you’ll be ready for Arts & Crafts, painting, photographs, knitting, cake decorating, silverwork, and more. These are truly works of art, made from the heart of artists young and old, they will take your breath away!

#6 You might not be outdoors, but you’ll still be in the garden when you pop in to the Flower & Garden Pavilion with an amazing array of plants and flowers on display!

#7 The sheep are warm and dry in the Sheep & Wool Pavilion, and you’ll see super-speedy champion shearers showcase their sensational skills. Even though chicken feathers are water resistant and very insulating, we keep them dry in the Poultry Pavilion.

#8 Goats love a bit of mud, but we keep them out of the rain too in their pavilion, and you can go straight into Woolworths Ag Discovery and the Farmyard Nursery next – all under cover!

#9 Cows, alpacas and horses are dry, indoors and out of the rain! And you haven’t been into Kids World or the World Bazaar yet…

#10 GIANTS Stadium has 8,500 seats undercover and hours of free entertainment. The Show will go on, rain, hail or shine – so sit in the shade or out of the rain and enjoy a well-deserved snack or a hearty meal and be entertained! The evening entertainment packs six amazing show into one evening-to-remember, not even the rain can dampen the fun!

Showbags are always your last stop… you could hide away from the weather for hours in Showbag Hall!

The best bit of all? Grey skies keep the crowds away, so you’ll have room to move and that’s got to make you happy!
