Vietnam ranked #8 out of 10 best destinations for travel lovers who live and work remotely, by The Travel.

Recently, a well known Canadian magazine, The Travel, has announced the list of 10 best countries for Digital Nomads and Vietnam is one of the countries on this list.

Thereby, a typical digital nomad, by definition, is a person who lives and works remotely as a location - independent remote worker. Their lives are attached with journeys, novel cultures and a laptop. Digital Nomads tend to be younger people who love freedom, travelling to explore the world and can be found working in most industries in the knowledge economy: marketing, design, IT, writing, media, tutoring, and consulting…

Digital nomads spend most of their lives travelling, exploring new lands while earning income online. The internet to them is not only the tool to connect with the customers but also ‘their side by side fellow travellers’.

However, not every country can be an ideal destination for digital nomads since they work via laptops, social media and mobile phones and depend mostly on internet access, electricity and other amenities.

According to The Travel, although Vietnam is not a developed country, it still provides an excellent environment for digital nomads to pay a visit one in their lifetimes. The country is peaceful and very welcoming for foreigners, good weather, and easy to balance work life and fun. Additionally, Vietnam is one of the Asia countries that offers fairly developed technical infrastructure. In recent years, the Government has implemented digital transformation in the tourism industry, in order to give more favourable conditions for international tourists. Affordable lifestyle is another factor of this gorgeous country to be the ideal destination for digital nomads.
