Experience rural farm life in the satoyama farming community of Takigahara, tucked at the foot of Kurakake Mountain. 

Among the vast paddy fields and mountain ranges stands the stylish TAKIGAHARA FARM, HOUSE and CAFÉ, where you can participate in farming activities or join craft workshops at the renovated 130-year-old farmhouse and stay in the cosy 80-year-old stone warehouse next door. 

You can also just chill at the cafe with homemade food made from local flour and farm-fresh vegetables.

The owners are fluent in English, so you interact with them and know more about their farm lifestyle without worrying about communication barriers!
