During the 5 days of the festival, hot air ballooning activities are held at 3 locations including Nguyen Tat Thanh square (Tuyen Quang City) from 30 March to 1st April; Tan Trao Square (belonging to Tan Trao historical relic area, Son Duong District) on 1st April; and Na Tong Stadium (belonging to Na Hang nature reserve, Lam Binh District) from 2 to 3 April.
The hot air balloons will fly performances and light shows or serve the hot air ballooning experience for visitors.
Accordingly, visitors can sit in hot air balloons hanging at an altitude of 50 - 70 m for 5 minutes; or fly freely from a height of 200 - 300 m with a radius of 3 - 5 km to see Tuyen Quang City; and experience a more adventurous level when flying freely to see Na Hang tourist area. Balloons are controlled by trained foreign pilots.
During the festival, visitors will have a chance to experience a free hot air balloon flight at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Tuyen Quang City when presenting Vietjet’s boarding pass or e-tickets.
In addition, visitors have the opportunity to participate in festival activities to celebrate the Tuyen Quang tourism year, enjoy kayaking on Na Hang Lake, fire dance activities, tours to explore the primeval forest, foot massage by fishes...
