Imagine walking through hundreds of red torii gates to a beautiful garden

Takayama Inari Shrine
At Takayama Inari Shrine in Aomori Prefecture, you can visit the main temple and Senbon-Torii path, a picture perfect spot with over 200 vermilion torii gates line up the winding path through the Japanese-style garden. 

There are also many stone statues of foxes spread around the grounds, representing the messengers for the Inari god which the shrine is dedicated to.
