The Luxurious Hilton Surfers Paradise

Hilton Surfers Paradise
Recently I travelled to the Gold Coast and enjoyed my stay at the luxurious Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences.

It has been quite a while since I was last there. The last time was when my children were still at school and we exhausted ourselves by going to all the amazing theme parks there. This time I was by myself so a much more relaxed time was had.

The highlight was my accommodation choice of the Hilton Surfers Paradise. I travelled from Brisbane by train and light rail and was pleased with its handy location near the Surfers Paradise light rail stop. My check in at the ground floor lobby went smoothly and I was soon on my way up to my room on the 15th floor.

Hilton Surfers Paradise - Guest Room
My spacious & elegant guest room was a delight to stay in. Ot had all the comforts of home.  The large room had a comfortable bed, lounge chairs and coffee table. A coffee pod machine, phone docking station, and LCD  TV on the wall and WiFi were pleasing features. From my balcony I enjoyed the spectacular views of the Surfers Paradise Beach & Pacific Ocean, the magnificent Gold Coast Hinterland the twinkling city at night. My room was a wonderful place to unwind after exploring the beaches, shopping centres and casino during the day.

The large white and bright bathroom had a walk in large walk in shower with soothing rain shower head and plenty of hot water. The quality Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries that were provided in the room were a delight to use.

My room was one of the 178 stylish guest rooms and suites located at the Hilton Surfers Paradise on levels 3-15 of the Orchid Tower. A variety of room types are available to choose from, all designed wth comfort and convenience in mind.

Hilton Surfers Paradise - spa
There are also 150 spacious self-contained apartment style residences with 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedrooms at the Hilton Surfers Paradise. These feature a private balcony, kitchen, laundry and separate living and dining area and are located on levels 3 - 54 of the Orchid and Boulevard Towers that soar over Surfers Paradise.

The best deals for these guest rooms, suites and residences can be obtained by directly booking online on their website.

During my stay I was fortunate to have access to the brand new Executive Lounge on Level 2, offering complimentary afternoon tea and evening drinks and tapas. There were several seated indoor areas, as well as an outdoor garden area. The staff were pleasant and went out of their way to make sure I had food and drinks to my liking.

Hilton Surfers Paradise - Catch Restaurant
I enjoyed my breakfast each morning with a traditional Australian buffet at Catch Restaurant. The choice of hot and cold food was amazing with a lot of my favourites. There were plenty of healthy options available, but as a sweet tooth I particularly enjoyed the pastries, pancakes, waffles and ice-cream.

One evening I entertained some old friends of mine at Ms Margot’s Bar & Eats, located inside the newly refurbished lobby on the ground floor. They feature a signature cocktail menu, served up alongside a share-style menu featuring everything from antipasto and cheeseboards to pizzas, seafood, sides and salads.

Hilton Surfers Paradise - pool
I was impressed with the fitness and recreation facilities at the Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences. I made use of the four swimming pools, heated indoor spa, sauna and the two 24/7 access fitness centres. While I was busy splashing around in the water I saw others relaxing on lounges by the pools enjoying the sunshine.

The eforea spa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a massage or pamper yourself with a range of treatments to restore and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul.

Hilton Surfers Paradise - lobby
I noted that the Hilton Surfers Paradise offer boutique event spaces, ballroom, and business centre. These are equipped with the latest technology and have space for up to 220 guests banquet-style. It seems like the perfect venue for a meeting or event. A brilliant combination of work and leisure in the one place.

I was impressed by the location of the Hilton Surfers Paradise, set in the heart of Surfers Paradise between Orchid Avenue and Surfers Paradise Boulevard, next to the famous Cavill Mall. It is within walking distance to a range of dynamic shopping, entertainment and business areas. The iconic Surfers Paradise surf beach, SkyPoint Observation Deck, Wax Museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, Skypoint Observation Deck and the stomach wrenching Slingshot are just a walk away.

Hilton Surfers Paradise
My stay at the Hilton Surfers Paradise Hotel & Residences was a very pleasurable experience. My guest room and the public areas were very stylish and comfortable. The staff I met were very welcoming and went out of their way to respond to any request I made. The Hilton Surfers Paradise is the place to stay at to enjoy all the Gold Coast has to offer.
