A location that boasts Nikko's natural beauty
Located in the Oku-Nikko area (Deep-Nikko), the Ritz Carlton Nikko sits on the banks of the iconic Lake Chuzenji. Nikko is famous for some of the best Autumn leaves that lies just under a 2-hour journey north from Tokyo with the Tobu Railway. The hotel has been built to show views of the nearby Mount Nantai that stands 2,486 meters high and is a 5-minute walk to one of Japan's three most beautiful waterfalls – Kegon Falls.

The hotel will be a luxury residence that blends in with the natural surroundings while incorporating traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Through the combination of these elements, the Ritz Carlton Nikko aims to reflect the natural beauty and culture of the region.

A new destination for ultimate relaxation
Ritz Carlton Nikko will be the first in Japan to have a hot spring incorporated into its facilities, allowing guests to relax and unwind in the traditional baths' natural waters.

Overall there will be 94 guest rooms, as well as nine 'Lake Chuzenji View Suites' and ten 'The Ritz-Carlton Suites'. Luxury guest facilities at the hotel include a large lobby lounge, a library and a bar serving a unique collection of Japanese whiskeys and original cocktails.

Ritz Carlton Nikko will make it easy for travellers to experience the best of Nikko, with the hotel offering special opportunities for guests such as Nature cycling tours, cultural experiences at the nearby Chuzenji Temple and spiritual experiences at one of Nikko's world heritage Shrines.

Ritz Carlton luxury hotels are also located in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Okinawa.
