Vietnam Goes A Full Week With No New COVID-19 Cases, Restrictions Removed For Numerous Cities

We would like to bring you good news from Vietnam as our destination country reported no new cases of COVID-19 for the past 7 days. Additionally, the temporary restrictions have now been lifted for most areas in the country, which means starting today in Hanoi and many other destinations, usual life is restored for the majority of citizens and visitors alike.

Recognized as one of the best countries in terms of dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, Vietnam is expecting a positive outlook for recovery. As of today, COVID-19 cases in Vietnam total at 268, in which 224 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals, leaving only 44 active cases left. The Vietnamese Government and Health Ministry continue to control the situation by keeping in place health safety requirements where necessary, while releasing lockdowns in low-risk areas in order to re-enable production, commerce, consumption and soon, travel.

With the streets of Vietnam once again filled with people and activities, and basic health safety measures still being accounted for, we are eager to recover and move forward. In the mean time, we urge everyone to stay home if required, stay safe and also stay active. #PlanYourTravel with us and get back on track as soon as travel bans are lifted and travellers can once again experience Asia to the fullest.

Safe travels, ASIA DMC https://www.asiadmc.com/
