We place an emphasis on educating guests in the realities of life in rural Cambodia, and ensure that your visit makes a positive impact on the local communities.
We believe in responsible tourism and sustainability.
The social enterprise was founded by a local initiative called Kinyei in 2010.
At the time, the group realized that Cambodia has a major development problem, particularly in those areas which are not the major cities.
The main problems were the disassociation between the skills learnt in the university and the skills required in the workforce, as well as the lack of jobs available for new graduates.
Soksabike’s co-founders decided to set up two businesses, Soksabike and Kinyei Cafe, so they could provide vocational training and job opportunities for local youth in Cambodia, particularly in Battambang.
