LITTLE EXPLORERS

The Museum of Tropical Queensland is proud to launch Little Explorers, a hands on morning session ideal for children aged 3-6 years old.

Previously known as Beau's Buddies, Little Explorers is a program that encourages fun, discovery and creativity based around a museum object. The new program talks to children not only about animals and biodiversity, but also introduces activities based around Museum artefacts.

Starting at 9.45am each Tuesday and Thursday, this coordinated session starts with the new object being revealed and discussed. Children learn about object by touching and holding it, hear a related story and join in craft activities.

With two sessions a week during school terms, Little Explorers ensure that even the smallest Museum visitors have fun and learn something new. The activity is free with admission and there's no need to book.
