Eat and drink
River City Brews Rafting Tours, Missoula

Missoula's River City Brews Rafting Tours combines a scenic tour of flatwater sections of the Clark Fork and Blackfoot Rivers with an enjoyable drinking afternoon/evening. They offer daily afternoon and evening trips, and each guest receives three pints of beer or cider. This is a great way to unwind with friends and family over beer while kicking back and watching scenery flow past.

Headframe Spirits, Butte
Headframe Spirits successfully combines alcohol and history in the town of Butte whose name comes from the headframes that used to lower miners down into Butte mines. Headframe Spirits crafts high quality micro-distilled spirits including Orphan Girl Bourbon Cream Liqueur and High Ore Vodka. You can tour Headframe Sprits’ historic tasting room or relax with friends while sampling cocktails and learning about Butte’s fascinating mining history.

Stargazing at Medicine Rocks State Park

Montana’s open skies offer the opportunity for many incredible stargazing destinations such as Medicine Rocks State Park which has 12 campsites allowing you to view the stars from your tent at night. During the day you can explore the park's incredible soft sandstone rock formations, sacred to local Native America tribes, by going bike riding, picnicking, or hiking.

Visit Travelers’ Rest State Park, Lolo
Travelers’ Rest State Park is an idyllic spot off the beaten path with over 115 bird species, guided tours, campouts, and winter storytelling from Native Americans, historians, and scientists. Feel like you are walking in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark who stopped here on their expedition. Stop by the park’s visitor centre and museum that contain Lewis & Clark Expedition replicas, Salish culture, and Native American crafts.
