At the end of a week-long course, you’ll have your paragliding licence and be ready to soar above the clouds. The course includes a tandem flight to get you comfortable up in the air. Manilla Paragliding is a Hang Gliding Federation of Australia Approved (HGFA) Flight Training Facility.
North of Tamworth is Warrabah National Park, a tranquil national park split by the stunning Namoi River. Massive granite boulders are set above the valley’s tranquil pools where you can fish, swim or picnic. Sections of the river offer challenging rapids, which are perfect for canoeing adventures.
For a self-contained weekend escape in the peaceful and idyllic wilderness of Warrabah National Park head to Muluerindie. This charming hand-built stone hut has been lavishly restored to its former glory, featuring natural granite walls, an open fireplace and a wonderful timber decking overlooking the beautiful Namoi River.
Muluerindie is the perfect place to either relax or explore the park, including the nearby fishing holes and spectacular boulders.
Also North of Tamworth is Mount Kaputar National Park, known for its rugged and beautiful scenery. A walk along Myall Creek is a must, and in spring the park is resplendent with wildflowers.
