Designer resort QT Falls Creek has again been awarded 'Best Australian Ski Property' for the fourth consecutive year at the annual Luxury Travel magazine 2016 Gold List Awards.
Now in its 12th year, Luxury Travel Magazine is Australia's only standalone travel and lifestyle magazine devoted entirely to luxury leisure travel, and the Gold List Awards recognise the best in luxury travel destinations, experiences and operations across a number of categories. Online voting was open to readers and the general public to nominate their favourite operator.
Bringing boutique luxury to the beauty of Falls Creek, this achievement marks one of many for QT Falls Creek, awarded 'Australia's Best Ski Boutique Hotel' for the third consecutive year at the annual World Ski Awards in 2015 – and the only global initiative to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in ski tourism.
Located at the base of the main ski run, QT Falls Creek boasts uninterrupted views that are taken in from the fresh forty-two one, two and three bedroom luxury lodge apartments including penthouses. With modern interiors, under floor heating, open plan living areas, a European laundry / drying cupboard and hot tubs on most apartment balconies, the quirky QT style is omnipresent in every room.
When guests aren't skiing the slopes, they can be fully indulged in the vibe at the hotel, with the Nic Graham designed, interactive marketplace Bazaar; the resorts signature restaurant, hip cocktail bar Stingray Lounge and the lush, ski-inspired spa experiences at spaQ.
“We are delighted to have again been honoured by the readers of Luxury Travel Magazine”, said Managing Director of Event Hospitality & Entertainment Limited (EVT), David Seargeant. “At QT we constantly strive to create interesting design driven spaces and to offer our guests high energy quality experiences in our restaurants & bars, and so it is very satisfying to have this recognised”.
