Knights of Fire - The Festival of the Flame

Winter is here! Instead of hibernating indoors, embrace the season and warm up with Knights of Fire- The Festival of the Flame these school holidays (June 27– July 12, 2015) - at Kryal Castle, Ballarat.

You will be enthralled by the spectacular Joust of The Flame as Sir Hector meets the Dark Knight in a fiery clash on The Castle's Main Arena. Witness the Knights of Kryal test their skills and courage against the black knight from lands unknown- an ancient tradition in the land of Kryal. Sir Hector - The Knight of the flame - stands against this dark foe in a battle of steel, magic and fire.

Warm yourself at one of the blazing braziers around the grounds as you enjoy the roving entertainment or make your way to the rotunda and grab a seat by the open fire to join The Kryal Storyteller and learn the story of Kryal's very own myths and legends.

Attend Jester's School or try your hand at the skills of combat at Militia Training- where you could learn to be Kryal's new hero against the darkest deeps of winter's powerful forces.

Plus all Kryal Castle's traditional activities will still be on offer- visit the wizard's apprentice in The Wizard's Workshop, try your hand at Calligraphy, create potions in Potion Making class or test yourself with indoor archery.

Enjoy a special Medieval Winter Feast fit for a king in The Abbey on the eve of Saturday July 4, 2015. Guests will indulge in a three course medieval inspired meal and entertainment for just $85.00 per adult and $60.00 per child. *Does not include Park entry
