New flights to Yellowstone
Yellowstone, WY is a beneficiary of the United/Continental merger. The airline will add summer-season flights between its Houston and San Francisco (SFO) hubs and Jackson Hole (JAC), which attracts millions of visitors to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in addition to their existing service to Jackson Hole from hubs in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles.

Revamp for Buffalo Bill now open
Buffalo Bill Historic Centre has reopened Buffalo Bill Museum—one of five museums within the Center - after major renovations, in time for the 2012 summer vacation season. New features include a greeting from a life-size helio display of Buffalo Bill himself and the venue is already receiving buzz as one of the country's hottest new tourist attractions. The Center is a short drive from the east gate of Yellowstone National Park.

Ranches AND Historic Hotels
Willow Creek Ranch
Wyoming has both kinds! Willow Creek Ranch at the Hole in the Wall was home to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, TA Guest Ranch run by 3 generations of family living on the property, Paradise Guest Ranch luxury log cabins and flexible kid's programs, Brush Creek Ranch luxury all-inclusive Orvis endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge and T Cross Ranch pristine wilderness. or for the hardcore cowboys (and girls) Double Rafter Cattle Drives 1880's week long 50-mile cattle drive. This is reality, no roads, no cabins, pristine.

Historic Hotels of the Rockies is an association of heritage lodging establishments, each with its distinct personality. Members are committed to the preservation of western heritage, providing fine guest services and hospitality.
