Denver Zoo has opened a new elephant exhibit, environmentally amazing in terms of Asian elephant conservation and creating one of the best examples of a "green" outdoor attraction in the USA.

History Colorado Centre opened in April 12 with interactive exhibits that allow visitors to experience going down in a mine, a ski jump and more.  Located right downtown.

B-cycle Bike Sharing Program offers 52 stations around the city, and was the first citywide bike sharing program in the United States.  Denver Bike Sharing has enlisted the help of Denver B-cycle to supply the technology and hardware required to implement the bike sharing system in the Denver area.

Denver Art Museum has an award-winning family program for exploring the art within the walls of two buildings with children's activity areas throughout.  The American Indian collection is applauded for its geographic display of this culture's art from the past to the contemporary artists of today.  In addition to many permanent galleries that include Western art the museum attracts blockbuster exhibitions like the recent Yves Saint Laurent: The Retrospective and the uniquely curated Becoming Van Gogh opening this autumn, with more than 70 works from 60 museums and private collections worldwide.
