For Australian Formula1 fanatics, the world's festival of speed will be held in Korea on the weekend of 12-14 October. With Australian F1 driver Mark Webber presently at number two position on the world standings in 2012, Korea offers a great opportunity to see him in action closer to home in October.
The 2012 F1 Korean Grand Prix will be held in Korea for the third year from 12-14 October at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam in the south-west corner of the country. With Korea just under ten hours flight from Australia, Korea is a good option for Australian F1 racing enthusiasts to follow their F1 racing heroes and enjoy all the atmosphere of Forumula1.

The easiest way to get to the international circuit at Yeongam is to take the high speed train (KTX) from Seoul Yongsan Station to nearby Mokpo where there is plenty of accommodation and then take the free shuttle service to the race circuit daily.
There are over 5,000 hotel rooms in Mokpo and the surrounding area of Yeongam and accommodation can be reserved via the Korean GP website. See www.koreangp.kr
The 2012 F1 Korean Grand Prix will have many exciting events for fans including Drivers Autograph session, Race Grid Event and for K-Pop fans there will also be a large concert event over the weekend.
