The Newtown Festival 2011 will be held on Sunday this coming
weekend. Come along expecting to bump into a few other people, as the festival
usually attracts over 70,000 people.
This year, the Festival will include:
- 3 music stages featuring famous bands. The line-up will be
headlined by Stonefield, Dubmarine, Spit Syndicate and Sticky Fingers
- Huge kids and family zone
- Vocal

- Writers Stage
- Eco area
- Cycling Area
- Interactive workshops
- Street Theatre and Art Spaces

Festival Dog Show
- 280 market stalls
- Food stalls offering a taste of the globe
Funds raised will go to the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre
services to the disadvantaged. Newtown Neighbourhood Centre supports people
through community action and provision of services to address their need,
focusing on the disadvantaged and vulnerable members in the community. The
centre provides services to the aged, people with disabilities, people with
mental illness, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
and people on low incomes.

The Newtown Festival 2011 will be held 9.30am to 5.30pm on Sunday 13th November at Camperdown Memorial Rest Park, Newtown, Sydney, NSW Australia Admission is free.
