Chief Executive Officer Jesse Matheson brings extensive experience in community engagement, organisational leadership and cultural transformation across the not-for-profit, arts and public sectors.
Having served as a Board Member between 2017 and 2022, Co-Chair during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Director of Sydney WorldPride and Company Secretary, Jesse has played a significant role in guiding the organisation through an important period of renewal while helping prepare for its historic golden anniversary.

Her deep understanding of the organisation, combined with long-standing relationships throughout the community, provides valuable continuity as Mardi Gras continues to grow internationally.
Serving alongside Kathy is Co-Chair Mits Delisle, whose experience in organisational strategy, community leadership and LGBTQIA+SB advocacy has supported significant governance reforms and the ongoing development of the organisation.
Together, the leadership team is focused on ensuring Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras remains one of the world's leading Pride festivals while continuing to serve its community.
