Construction Phases and Key Stations

The first phase of the Purple Line Extension stretches from Wilshire/Western in Los Angeles to the Wilshire/La Cienega Station. This segment is currently under construction, with an anticipated opening in the first quarter of 2026.

The second phase will extend the subway from Wilshire/La Cienega to Century City, featuring the Beverly Dr Station (also known as Wilshire/Rodeo Station). This portion of the project is expected to be operational by Spring 2027. Together, these new stops will provide improved connectivity to some of Los Angeles’ most popular destinations, making Beverly Hills even more accessible for both visitors and locals.
