Kauai’s westside community comes alive each year with the Waimea Light Parade, a festive celebration that brings holiday cheer to locals and visitors alike. This year, the parade took place on December 20, 2025 along Main Street in Waimea and concluding at Hofgaard Park with a joyful holiday concert in the heart of town.
A Parade of Lights and Music
Spectators enjoyed a dazzling display of illuminated floats, glowing costumes, and groovy glo-stick marching units as the parade wound its way through the town. Emcees Hualani Duncan, Kapua Beniamina, and Kukui Lang guided the celebration, keeping energy high and ensuring everyone felt the spirit of the season.
