Welcome to The Green Light: GATSBY Returns for a Dazzling Summer Night

GATSBY
The Party of the Summer is Back

From 13 December 2025, the doors of The Green Light swing open once again for GATSBY, a spellbinding fusion of cabaret, spectacle, and 1920s glamour. Presented by Sydney Opera House and Caper & Crow, this bold reimagining of The Great Gatsby transforms the Studio into the city’s most talked-about club.

Where the Roaring Twenties Meet the Thrill of Today

Inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s iconic novel, GATSBY blends classic vaudeville with the beat of modern cabaret. Set in a glittering nightclub owned by the mysterious Gatsby himself, the show pulses with live music, acrobatics, aerial performance, and hypnotic choreography. This is no ordinary night out—it’s an immersive escape into decadence, romance, and reckless abandon.

Choose Your Experience – VIP or Spectator

GATSBY
There are two ways to be part of Gatsby’s world. For the ultimate evening, VIP cabaret tables include a 1920s-inspired canapé platter and a cocktail served by Gatsby’s charismatic waitstaff, with table-side service throughout the show. It’s a rare chance to be right in the heart of the performance.

Prefer to sit back and soak in the show? Floor and mezzanine seating offer a full view of the action without food or drink service. However, drinks purchased from the venue bars are welcome in hand as you take in every glittering detail.

A Cabaret Experience Like No Other

With a brisk run time of 75 minutes and no interval, GATSBY is an electrifying evening designed for mature audiences who enjoy their theatre with a shot of glamour and a twist of mystery. It’s the kind of night where the champagne flows and stories are written in sequins and spotlight.

Dress to Impress – Gatsby Would Expect Nothing Less

Guests are encouraged to dress to dazzle. Whether you’re channeling a flapper’s fringe or a dapper waistcoat, every detail helps bring this immersive world to life. After a sell-out season, this show returns by popular demand—so secure your place at the city’s most exclusive summer soirée.
