Anime Expo brings together fans and industry from Japan, the U.S. and all over the world to the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown LA for the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America!

With LA’s legendary summer weather in full effect, there are outdoor shows a go-go across the city! Highlights for the first week of July include three nights of suave crooner Harry Connick Jr. at the Hollywood Bowl; pop-punk pillars Blink-182 at SoFi Stadium; and countless indoor shows citywide.

Harry Connick, Jr headlines one of LA's greatest summer traditions, the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl. The GRAMMY and Emmy Award winner and his band will perform at the Bowl over three nights, accompanied by Thomas Wilkins and the LA Phil. Tickets are now on sale - kids 12 and under are half-price!

July 4th Block Party - Gloria Molina Grand Park
Gloria Molina Grand Park presents one of its signature events, the Fourth of July Block Party, from 4pm to 9:30pm! This year’s event features arts activities, sports games, live music and dance, with dozens of LA’s favorite food trucks and DJs spinning hip-hop, reggaeton, funk and more. Enjoy the Gloria Molina Grand Park Ferris Wheel and an innovative drone show by Grizzly Entertainment. This is a FREE, inclusive event for all ages and backgrounds, fostering connections, allyship and mutual support. Celebrate the Fourth and experience the true spirit of community!

Afrojack - Hollywood Palladium (July 3)
With “2 The Moon,” his latest collaboration with Pitbull and Ne-Yo, and a new single from Afroki, his collab with Steve Aoki, Afrojack heads to the Hollywood Palladium on Wednesday night. Catch the superstar Dutch DJ play a four-hour set to start the holiday weekend.
