Blending nature and business: New event spaces at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Two new and versatile event spaces have been unveiled at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney Australia adding to their extensive range of options for hosting business events, meetings, and conferences.

The Garden Gallery and Gadi Seminar Rooms are situated within the Robert Brown Building, which first opened in 1982 and was named after the Scottish botanist Robert Brown, who made a lasting contribution to the study of Australian flora.

Blending history, art and nature seamlessly, the freshly refurbished spaces are now available for the first time for corporate events, workshops, seminars and team-building days.

Event organisers can also add a tour of the Gardens, or a relaxing breakout session beneath the trees to enjoy the many benefits of natural light and nature.

Holly McDougall, Venue Sales Manager, Botanic Gardens of Sydney is thrilled to offer Sydney’s business community a unique mix of nature and modern amenities.

“The Garden Gallery and Gadi Seminar Rooms are a welcomed addition to Sydney’s business event scene, meeting the growing demand for spaces that foster positive wellbeing and a collaborative culture.

“These new venues are immersive experiences where the beauty of the Gardens meets state-of-the-art facilities. Our goal is to inspire creativity and innovation by providing an environment that merges natural light with greenery and art,” said Ms McDougall.

Laissez-faire Catering will extend their diverse and award-winning in-house food and beverage offerings at the Gardens to the new venues. Guests will be provided with delicacies from DHUWA Coffee and Blak Brews, local indigenous coffee and tea suppliers, and organisers will have full access to Laissez-faire Catering’s menus – even for small gatherings.

Sara Flaskbard, General Manager, Laissez-faire Catering said, “The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney now provides the full spectrum of spaces for all types of business events.

“We can do larger scale dinners and cocktail parties at The Calyx and provide exceptional catering for smaller meetings and gatherings in these wonderful new spaces.

“We believe all events, regardless of size should have access to a morale boosting space with creative, delicious and locally sourced dishes,” said Ms Flaskbard.

The Garden Gallery space combines natural light and an airy atmosphere, and artworks from emerging artists.

The Gadi Seminar Rooms, are surrounded by the lush greenery of the Gardens and are naturally lit.
