One of the biggest annual sporting events in the Northern Territory is back in 2022 when the Tatts Finke Desert Race returns to Alice Springs.
Held on Queens Birthday Long Weekend (June 9 – June 13, 2022) the 2022 Tatts Finke Desert Race is an off road, multi terrain two-day race for bikes, cars, buggies and quads through desert country from Alice Springs to the small Aputula (Finke) community.
With 650 bikes & quads and 150 buggies & trophy trucks competing annually, there is little wonder why Finke Desert Race has the reputation of being one of the most difficult offroad courses in the world.
Putting the helmet on for the 2022 Tatts Finke Desert Race includes six-time winner Shannon Rentsch who is back competing after a couple years off and back to retain their status of reigning King of the Desert are 2021 Car category winner Toby Price and 2021 Bike category winner and NT local hero David Walsh.
Finke is unique and the most fun you can have this June long weekend!
