Ha Long - Quang Ninh Tourism Week offers fascinating events ahead

Carnaval Ha Long 2022

The Department of Information and Communications of Quang Ninh has chaired a press conference to inform about activities within the framework of Ha Long - Quang Ninh Tourism Week which will take place on the 30th April - 1st May, 2022.

Accordingly, Carnaval Ha Long 2022 embracing the theme “Ha Long - The wonder shines with 31st SEA Games” will open on 29th April 2022 at Ocean Park Beach, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City and will be broadcast live by Quang Ninh Media Centre from 08:00 pm to 09:30 pm. The opening ceremony of Carnaval Ha Long 2022 will have the participation of more than 2,000 professional and amateur actors, including singers from national contest Sao Mai, etc. to perform youthful, vibrant and colourful songs, promising to blow up the fresh air of Ha Long - Quang Ninh Summer Tourism 2022.

Carnaval Ha Long 2022 is a practical activity to promote tourism as well as large-scale events held in Ha Long City, such as The 9th National Sports Festival; Ha Long - the ASEAN Clean Tourist Awards 2022; Ha Long Bay voted in the top of the world's most attractive tourist destinations by Thetravel.com. Especially, some of sport games within the 31st SEA Games will be hosted by Quang Ninh Province, which will be a golden opportunity to promote the image of this land, people, natural resources, cultural identity of the ethnic groups in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province to the world, affirming Ha Long as a safe and hospitable destination, attracting visitors within the country and from overseas to the city.

Besides, on this occasion, Ha Long City plans to held a series of 8 art and cultural activities and events including: Tran Quoc Nghien Temple Festival; Kite flying festival with the theme "Childhood's kites”; Art performance show to welcome the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress in Ha Long City, term 2022 - 2027 with the theme "Ha Long youth takes off dreams to fly high"; Ha Long Dance Group Festival with the theme “Youth Dance”; Folk dance performance with the theme "Ha Long Women - Dance on the Heritage Bank"; Nourish performance with the theme "Ha Long elderly people live a happy, healthy, useful life, building a rich, beautiful and civilised Ha Long City"; Ha Long City Art Photo Exhibition with the theme "I love Ha Long"...

Responding to Ha Long - Quang Ninh Tourism Week in 2022, from now until the holiday 30th April - 1st May, Uong Bi City also organises a series of events and activities. In particular, Uong Bi’s OCOP Trade Fair 2022 will take place from 16-23 April at the 25/2 Square with 200 to 250 booths introducing and selling OCOP products, Yen Tu yellow apricot tree and furniture exhibition, introducing the city's cultural and culinary tourism products.

The display and performance of Ao Dai at Yen Tu relic and scenic spot taking place on 23rd April is an activity within the framework of Quang Ninh Ao Dai Festival in 2022. Beside, there will be the programme "Uong Bi - Hello Summer 2022"; launching the contest of composing travel video clip "Uong Bi - The beauty in me"; Street dance show, sports bicycle parade.../.
