Cherry Trees Along the Meguro River

About 800 cherry trees line 2.2.km along the Meguro River in Tokyo, and the 1km of the stretch is illuminated during the annual light up of the trees!
 
The light up usually happens from late March till early April each year, around 5pm till 9pm each night.

Red lanterns are placed on both sides of the river, and there are festival stalls set up for Sakura-themed food and drinks!
