Tripadvisor "I come here as often as I can afford to (paid parking or public transport!) It’s amazing. I don’t know where to start! My personal favourite is the man made beach and lagoon right in the middle of the city! Have been coming here for years and will come here for many more." - Lksh17

Tripadvisor "I try to go each spring to look at the amazing wildflowers. If you don't have time to drive hundreds of km's to find them, just do a day trip to Kings Park! At other times of the year, I love to walk around, ride my bike around and the view never ceases to amaze. Take a picnic, take a book, definitely take your camera!" - Diflyhi

3) Paronella Park
Admission Ticket A$49.00
Tripadvisor "We absolutely loved our visit to Paronella Park, it has been on our bucket list for a while so we are so pleased that we were finally able to visit. We stayed onsite in a cabin overnight so we could see the light show at night and were not disappointed, it was beautiful. The story behind Paronella Park is a wonderful love story and the preservation of the park and buildings is fantastic." - Debra C

Lookouts
Tripadvisor "I had never imagined such a wonderful view could be found just a short 5-min drive from the CBD! Amazing view, especially this time of year with the jacaranda in bloom. I would bring a picnic next time—there were tables, BBQs and toilets, lots of green flat grass under the shade." - Alex W

Tripadvisor "Amazing to see the bushfire regeneration going on inside the park with sprouts of green everywhere and bugs and birds starting to return to the area. The Western coast of the island was as pristine and full of life as ever. Different seals covered the rocks around Admiral's arch around mid November." - RikkiBel

Tripadvisor "We live close to Queens Park so visit regularly but for residents and visitors there's something for everyone here. Strolls along the tree-lined paths, shaded areas for picnics, the Botanical Gardens with their colourful floral displays, off-leash dog park, several children's play areas and barbecue areas. The park also hosts numerous events during the year and is close to cafes and the town centre. It's the hub of East Toowoomba!" - Paula M

Tripadvisor "This park is spectacular all year round. Parks and Gardens Department of the local Council do an amazing job to ensure there is always something interesting to see. From the scented garden to the Carnival plantings as well as the sculptured hedges, it is a visual delight. Wonderful place for families for picnics with lots of shaded areas. Great play equipment for the children." - Vivienne E

Tripadvisor "Cannot recommend this caravan park highly enough! We've travelled 17,000 km to date and these were the best amenities bar none. Individual shower rooms with their own toilet and vanity, great laundry facilities and a really comfy recreations/games room with free WiFi. Although located about 5 km out of town, the park has direct beachfront access. On low tide we were able to wade out to the small island offshore and at high tide we threw in a line and caught some King George Whiting for dinner. Really enjoyed our stay!" - Denise K
